Now you can order groceries from your fridge

TECHNOLOGY has officially made shopping lists redundant as Samsung releases a new fridge with cameras inside that can link up to your smartphone.

The new innovation means you'll be able to work out if you need milk, simply by checking the screen of your phone, while at the supermarket.

The fridge, which they've called the Family Hub, also has a touchscreen on the door which means you can order your groceries online, at the same time as you're checking what's inside.

"We're excited to be partnering with Woolworths to bring the Family Hub experience to Australian households," Head of Home Appliances at Samsung Electronics Australia Jeremy Senior said.

"The integration of the Woolworths App is designed to give Australians more convenience than ever before, saving time and adding an extra layer of support and functionality."

The App let's you sync up the grocery list you make on the fridge with your phone and place an order to have your food delivered.

The App will also feature more than 2,200 recipes - meaning you can go from idea to online order in just a few minutes.

However with a price tag around $7,000 it might take a little while for the Family Hub to make it onto the average person's shapping list.
