CONGRATULATIONS goes to the Nestle Gympie factory on its outstanding recognition earned through the Oceania Nestle Continuous Excellence Awards held in Melbourne last month.

The award went to the Gympie factory for the way in which the factory team demonstrated the spirit of Nestle Continuous Excellence.

This was apparent by the team's breadth of excellence, recognised by the Most Outstanding Site award, which was also awarded to the Gympie manufacturing plant.

Nestle Gympie Factory is now a reference point for the rest of the Nestle factory group in Oceania, and is something the workers and management staff are all proud of.

What is Nestle Continuous Excellence?

NCE is a global business model that is being rolled out around the entire Nestle world. It has introduced a common language, common terminology and common set of practices.

What are its aims?

NCE is about getting the most value for consumers and customers.

This philosophy also helps to engage all employees to work as one team and create a problem solving mindset.

The leadership under NCE is one of coaching and empowering employees.
