Man falls from overpass onto Pacific Highway

A MAN was flown to the Gold Coast University Hospital with multiple injuries after falling from a highway overpass at Ocean Shores.

The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was called to the at the pedestrian overpass near Balemo Drive with a doctor and a paramedic shortly before 8pm Saturday to help the man, aged 47, before flying him to hospital.

No details of the man's condition are available at this stage.
