Hazmat called to business fire

THE GOONELLABAH Hazmat unit is racing to Casino to attend a fire at Riverina Stockfeeds.

A Fire and Rescue NSW spokesman said a fire broke out in a cooling plant near the silos at the business just after noon.

The spokesman said 350 staff had to be evacuated from the Reynolds Rd site due to the fire.

Emergency services personnel are on the scene and due to leaking fluid from the cooling plant it has been declared a Hazmat incident.
