POLICE had to take a 26-year-old Lismore man home to his mother last night, after he was kicked out of licensed venue in Lismore.
Police said they were called to a licensed premises on Keen St after a security guard asked the 26-year-old to leave the premises due to his "level of aggression and intoxication".
"Police asked the man to move 50m away from the location several times, which he refused to do," Senior Constable David Henderson said.
"He also continued to act in a belligerent manner.
"Police placed the man under arrest then took him home to his mother.
"The man then twice attempted to fight police.
"The man was left with his mother."
The man was issued a $1100 infringement notice for failing to leave the licensed premises and a $550 infringement notice for continue intoxicated behaviour.
