Bruxner Highway closed after car and bicycle crash

The Bruxner Highway between Lismore and Casino is closed after a serious crash involving a cyclist early this morning.

The crash occured at about 6.30am near the intersection of Northcott Rd and the Bruxner Highway at South Gundurimba.

Eastbound motorists are being diverted via Coraki Road and can use Wyrallah Road to travel to Lismore.

Westbound motorists are being turned around at the accident site and are advised to use Coraki Road and Wyrallah Road as an alternative route. 

Motorists are advised to allow additional travel time. 

Emergency services are on site.
