All forms of sports are for everybody. They are not just intended for athletic people. Even if some people are not good at their chosen sport, nothing can stop them from playing it if they really love it. Playing your favorite sport is a good way to unwind and relieve the stress.

Just like ordinary people, many celebrities are also into sports. Despite their hectic schedule, they often spare some time to relax and play their favorite sport. Some personalities enjoy playing outdoor sports. Taking part in an outdoor game allows them to mingle with other people. However, there are other personalities who prefer a little privacy. Thus, they opt to play indoor games.

There are enormous kinds of sports that fall under the indoor category. So what makes these sports even more popular? Obviously, certain games gain more popularity when they are played by celebrities.

Table Tennis

Also known as ping pong, table tennis has slowly enticed a lot of celebrities to play it. Primarily, playing table tennis is just for fun. In some cases, it is played professionally such as in Olympic and Paralympic. But the thing is, there are hidden benefits of playing this sport specifically to ones' health and fitness. With all the sweat that will be discharged, surely, players can attain fit body.

Celebrities who play ping pong include Forrest Gump star Tom Hanks, Jaime Foxx, Mike Myers, Prince William and former US President Bill Clinton along with his wife Hillary Clinton.

Pool/Billiards

Pool falls under the family of cue sport and game. Many people take pleasure in playing billiards because it is a challenging game. Players must find ways to strategically deposit the balls in the pockets. Therefore, it requires the players to think deeply and analyze every move. This is a good way to sharpen the mind. Pool is a world renown sport. That is why several celebrities have tried playing it.

Some personalities who play billiards include Steven Seagal, Bruce Willis and Noah Wyle from TV series E.R., who has joined a pool tournament.

Badminton

One of the many sports that require quick agility and good eyes-hand coordination is badminton. In professional tournament, badminton is an intense game. But for many celebrities, playing badminton is a clever tactic to stay fit. Just like other active sport, players will be able burn those unwanted fats by simply playing badminton. This is a good pastime and exercise packed into one routine. So many celebrities try this sport.

Celebrities you might find playing this game include Titanic and Inception star Leonardo DiCaprio and Hollywood icon Paul Newman. Who would not want to play badminton with Rebecca Romijn who played Mystique in X-Men films? This former fashion model is a self-proclaimed badminton addict (maybe that's the reason behind her sexy body).

Basketball

When talking about basketball, you might easily think that it is a sport for men. However, many women have already engaged into professional basketball. This sport offers tons of benefits to the players both physically and mentally. Most basketball players are fit and have high endurance. In addition, they also learned strict self discipline. No wonder why a lot of people including famous personalities play basketball during their spare time.

Ladies will surely scream their heart out when they see Hollywood heartthrob Matt Damon and George Clooney playing basketball. These two hot celebrities enjoy working up a sweat when they are available.

Bowling

A list of indoor games is incomplete if bowling is not included. Bowling is one of the most played indoor sports simply because it can be played by just anybody. No need for professional background nor extensive skills. All you have to do is hit the pins and try to strike them all. The more pins you hit, the higher the score.

Many celebrities play bowling for fun and leisure. Take for instance model Karolina Kurkova, who still looks gorgeous in those bowling shoes. Another star who enjoy playing bowling is Mario Lopez. And the list goes on. A lot of personalities can be spotted in popular bowling centers such as in Meadows Racetrack and Casino to play this game.

Better watch out for these personalities. Who knows, you might bump with these celebs when you play any of these indoor sports.
